Feature ideas to make Stasht even better
Hi Stasht team, First off — love what you’re building. Stasht already solves a real problem better than anything else I’ve tried. The automatic organization, maps, and reminders are genuinely useful. I wanted to share a few feature ideas that I think would make the app even stronger: 1. Multi-select for photos/screenshots (and other items) Long-press or checkbox mode so you can select multiple saves at once → delete, move, tag, mark as Done, or share in bulk. 2. Smart duplicate detection + merge Automatically detect when you save the same place, event, or recipe from different sources and offer a one-tap merge. 3. Quick “Save for later / Do it this week” action buttons One-tap buttons on every card like “Add to This Weekend”, “Remind me Friday”, or “Plan trip”. 4. Voice notes + voice search Record short voice notes on any stash and later search your entire library by speaking. 5. Custom backgrounds & cover photos Upload your own pics (or pick from your stashed screenshots) as backgrounds for collections, the map view, or even individual stash cards. Make every list and map feel personal and aesthetic. 6. Mood-board wall Turn any collection into a beautiful visual wall of photos, screenshots, and Reels thumbnails you can rearrange, zoom, and set as a custom home-screen style background inside the app. These would make the app feel more personal, faster to manage, and a lot more fun to use day-to-day. I use the app version of Stasht. I have made a collection and added several videos to it, but when I click on the collection only six videos show up and a bunch of AI generated folders with only one video in them. Even though at the top of the collection page, it says I do have the 12 videos that I’ve added to the collection in that collection, I only see six.

Need for subsections!
Hi, I love the app compared to other apps of the same kind. I used to use Raindrop.io, but I prefer this app as I don’t need to open another app to consult the video. The only thing is that I would like to be able to create collection within collection or sub folders like in Raindrop.io. If I am doing a fitness collection, a recipe collection and a skincare collection well within the fitness collection itself I want to separate my core exercises from my legs, exercise exercises videos but right now it is not possible to do that as there’s no subsection option. Right now, it means that I have a bunch of collection in regards of the same things, like Fitness, mixed with collections that are completely irrelevant to that subject like recipes or skincare or whatever else.

Bulk tag edit/move or collection merge
It would be really helpful to be able to bulk edit (add/remove) tags from saves and/or mass move saves between different collections or at least merge two collections in one.

would love to be able to manually add or edit locations to saved items (context: just stasht’d a post from insta about a café. location wasn’t explictedly mentioned in the caption, so it isn’t visible on the map, which is unfortunate)

Smaller thumbnails and choice between grid and list.
Hi, It would be great if you could make the thumbnails about 50% smaller. You can see more saved posts in a glance, and you don’t have to scroll so much. Also, the choice to organize them in a list or a grid.

Unable to sign up
I have removed and installed 3 times. Restarted my phone however when I am in the app and try to sign up the screen goes black and will not allow me to continue. Has anyone ever encountered this issue?

Extra features for Organising Collections
Hi, it would be great if we could have a filter option to see everything we have stashed that isn’t organised into a collection. Also, there’s no option to add a new Stash directly to a collection from the Chrome Extension, which is part of the reason why I would like to be able to see everything that isn’t currently saved to a collection.

Resy app shares fail

Suggested tags are not applying
When I open this bread recipe tags are perfectly suggested but when I click on a suggested tag the screen closes. The tag is not applied unless I write it and add it manually. In this video I’m trying to apply the “bread” suggested tag.

A lot of items in a collection
When you have a lot of items in your collection say 200+, the collection doesn’t load anymore and the auto-discover places never shows up and the whole screen is laggy

Make events editable
Sometimes Stasht gets the details of the events wrong, or doesn’t include them. For example, a lot of events taken from IG show up in the calendar as “All Day” when they actually have a designated time. It would be nice to be able to edit the details of an event after it’s automatically added. Similarly, add the ability to delete a calendar event (sometimes it duplicates events, or adds other events from a post that lists multiple).

Location based Notifications
Love the whole platform and have been using it religiously since you launched. Food for thought - I travel a ton for work, and as I approach any airport, Lyft will automatically send me a notification based on my location to offer services. It may be something to consider (and a way to potentially collect advert $ when people are close to a place they’ve saved by reminding them it’s in the area). Definitely not a must have - I quite like the weekly summaries and the intentionality of having to open the app. If you’re ever looking for investors, you should open it up to the Stasht community! I think several of us would be keen to support and see this thing blossom!

First days with Stasht
Great UI. Easy to use. What works less well: I mostly stasht Instagram reels (recipes). Loading them in stasht is very slow. Searching in stasht is haphazard. I get unrelated results. Most of the Instagram reels are in Japanese but they are translated in English by stasht (my Android phone uses English as primary language). Not sure I like that. Things seem to be added to stashts but I can’t control what is added, why, etc. I do not need the map thing for the time being but it takes a lot of place on the screen. I do not need locations all the time on the main screen. I also saved Google Gemini instructions but this does not seem to work in the same way as for other stashts: the stasht content is empty and there is just a link to the initial gemini instructions. I stasht a photo of a bottle of sake to remind me to buy the same one. Strangely enough, links have been added by stasht which are completely off-the-mark (Chinese links….). In short, much much much better than Instagram saved functions but still a lot of work to do.
