Love the concept
Hello, I really like that Stasht has an option to tag, but I noticed that you can’t tag places and I would like to be to do this so I can tag if it’s a place I’ve never been or price range or if they have food or brunch vs dinner, if they have music etc. a problem I’ve been having is that so many restaurants stores bars venues etc. don’t show up when you search them to add them to a collection. Can you set it to auto or ask if you want to save a location/venue of an event to a places section. Another problem I’ve been having is if the app can’t find the location in my city it will choose a similarly names one in another city (which circles back to my first issue) i love that if you travel a lot you can add events anywhere is the world but i wish there was a way to optionally set your city. can the app capture more information like how much an event is and make that clear? Can the app auto tag things like an event is a performance versus a market or festival versus outdoor activity etc. ?
Feature ideas to make Stasht even better
Hi Stasht team, First off — love what you’re building. Stasht already solves a real problem better than anything else I’ve tried. The automatic organization, maps, and reminders are genuinely useful. I wanted to share a few feature ideas that I think would make the app even stronger: 1. Multi-select for photos/screenshots (and other items) Long-press or checkbox mode so you can select multiple saves at once → delete, move, tag, mark as Done, or share in bulk. 2. Smart duplicate detection + merge Automatically detect when you save the same place, event, or recipe from different sources and offer a one-tap merge. 3. Quick “Save for later / Do it this week” action buttons One-tap buttons on every card like “Add to This Weekend”, “Remind me Friday”, or “Plan trip”. 4. Voice notes + voice search Record short voice notes on any stash and later search your entire library by speaking. 5. Custom backgrounds & cover photos Upload your own pics (or pick from your stashed screenshots) as backgrounds for collections, the map view, or even individual stash cards. Make every list and map feel personal and aesthetic. 6. Mood-board wall Turn any collection into a beautiful visual wall of photos, screenshots, and Reels thumbnails you can rearrange, zoom, and set as a custom home-screen style background inside the app. These would make the app feel more personal, faster to manage, and a lot more fun to use day-to-day. Thanks for building something this thoughtful. Looking forward to seeing what you ship next.
Bulk tag edit/move or collection merge
It would be really helpful to be able to bulk edit (add/remove) tags from saves and/or mass move saves between different collections or at least merge two collections in one.
manually adding/editing locations
would love to be able to manually add or edit locations to saved items (context: just stasht’d a post from insta about a café. location wasn’t explictedly mentioned in the caption, so it isn’t visible on the map, which is unfortunate)
Extra features for Organising Collections
Hi, it would be great if we could have a filter option to see everything we have stashed that isn’t organised into a collection. Also, there’s no option to add a new Stash directly to a collection from the Chrome Extension, which is part of the reason why I would like to be able to see everything that isn’t currently saved to a collection.
Could we please get GIF support?
I want to create a collection filled with GIF and memes for reaction.
Migrate collections from your social media?
I already have plenty of videos saved to lists in Instagram and YouTube. I’d be nice to be able to bulk migrate them.
Make events editable
Sometimes Stasht gets the details of the events wrong, or doesn’t include them. For example, a lot of events taken from IG show up in the calendar as “All Day” when they actually have a designated time. It would be nice to be able to edit the details of an event after it’s automatically added. Similarly, add the ability to delete a calendar event (sometimes it duplicates events, or adds other events from a post that lists multiple).
Location based Notifications
Love the whole platform and have been using it religiously since you launched. Food for thought - I travel a ton for work, and as I approach any airport, Lyft will automatically send me a notification based on my location to offer services. It may be something to consider (and a way to potentially collect advert $ when people are close to a place they’ve saved by reminding them it’s in the area). Definitely not a must have - I quite like the weekly summaries and the intentionality of having to open the app. If you’re ever looking for investors, you should open it up to the Stasht community! I think several of us would be keen to support and see this thing blossom!
Offline Mode
There needs to be an offline mode where the app stores a local cache of the last synced data when a network connection is unavailable. This is helpful for travelers that have spotty internet access.
Add tag feature
Unclear that the search field is what I use after clicking “add tags” - I expect to see an option to create a tag. Instead of a search magnifying glass, maybe change the icon to make it clear it’s not just a search bar.
Map
When in map, i would like to be able to search a city and it would bring up a list in my Stasht in that city. I am on the road a lot and this is especially helpful when im looking for a bite to eat in the area. Currently when I search the city on the map section, it just shows the video which is tough to toggle through all of them on the go. Thank you.
Search bar
I am unable to locate restaurants by city using the search bar. This would be important for me especially because I’m on the road a lot. Thanks!
Get rid of timer
I would suggest to Get rid of circle timer. I thought i had to keep it open despite it saying below I was free to close! Once I saw that, just assumed it was loading and I had to wait.
Stasht between accounts
Content creator friend of mine would love to be able to send things from two accounts since they are slightly different algos, but he would LOVE if he could consolidate favorite videos in one place
Ai post fact checker
With increasingly amounts of fake content, it would be cool to be able to use ai to fact check posts or help determine if a video or photo was altered or not genuine
Auto tagging
Is it possible to use AI to put some of the stasht posts into folders with each other? It would be neat to eventually summarize the folder or bullet point the contents of each folder for quick retrieval
Organization of outside links
I want to be able to add whatever I’m saving to a category quickly and then be asked if I’d like a reminder for it set!
Category addition
I’d love to have the option here to add categories that have previously not existed but with the hope that the app would use my categories moving forward for new content.
